Architect: Thomas Phifer and Partners
The restaurant and pavilion at the Woodall Rodgers Park in Dallas incorporate daylight into the design by creating a space surrounded by glass and skylights. Mauricio Lopez worked closely with the architect to develop the perforated ceiling that will filter the lighting casting tree like shadows for a whimsical connection with the park outside. The restaurant space original ceiling design (picture above) was not built.
