The lighting design for the Beauty Apothecary at the world-renown department store of Harrods, presented the challenge of illuminating the merchandise, while being gentle and soft on the customer’s skin. This was addressed by using spotlights to highlight the products in combination with glowing beams of light and perimeter uplights to create a soft light box effect. Additionally lighted panels accentuate the displays and provide low level illumination. The result, a luxurious and inviting shopping experience
